Long story short, the fiber service was started on the 16th and worked for 6 days. After 6 days my router stopped getting an IP address from Vodafone.
Having worked in telecommunications for as long as I can remember, I know my way around a network. Yet, regardless of what I was telling them, they were convinced something was wrong with my router. They said everything should be solved in 5 days. The engineer came by 6 days later and one brand new router and brand new fiber cables later, the problem was not fixed. The engineer left, and I called tech support again and asked what was going on. I was told that they have to do "research" and that it should be solved in 5 days. (I asked if they had to read a script since all I keep hearing is 5 days, he said no).
I asked if I could be escalated and talk to someone who actually knows something, he said no.
I asked if I could cancel my service, he said no. I cannot cancel the service because they need to complete their investigation first. Great business tactic I must say.
Unlike most consumers, I need my internet to connect to my office in the middle of the night when there's a problem. So 10+ days of no service and no explanation whatsoever is unacceptable to me.
So, if you're someone who needs access to the internet for work, or access to the internet in general, save yourselves the headache. I haven't even been with them for a month, and my service only worked for 6 days, I heard "solved in 5 days" ten times, and I've received many "no's" on my questions. Now I'm stuck with them, and I'm paying UPC for internet so I can actually do my job.
I'm not going to lie, the 6 days that the internet worked, it was awesome. TV quality was great, better than UPC. But don't expect anything to get fixed once something goes wrong.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from the "5 days network"
In my entire existence on this planet, I have never dealt with such incompetent people.
